OK, getting closer, got a taste, just like riding a bike, like going to an old friend's house, havn't been there lately, but comfortable feelings. Thanks again for all your help, I sure am miffed as to why I have dozens of sport sims, and can't get one I had to work. Old guy on computer, not a good thing.

Is it important to remove the previous legacy demo to get the current version to d/l'd smoothly?

It is better yes.
Bigdummy is experimenting a local issue due to the fact his computer won't allow him to register a particular dll.
It is the only case out of 200+ downloads so far, but I saw this case in the past with one or two customers.

bigdummy:
Is the component message still refers to mscomct2.ocx or another component?
It is possible that if your computer did not allow one to register properly, they are more.

Well, in one game when I try to load I receive a RTE 3021 no current record. My other game loads great, I can edit lines check lines, send scouts, pretty much anything, but when I go to GM desk finances installations/sponsers, I receive the RTE 339 component mscomct.2.ocx ect. ect. Everthing else in that saved game seems to work fine, but you have to work with sponsers and crash. Thanks

Yes the no current record, erase it, it did not complete the game creation.
So mscomct2.ocx remains the issue, I'll still search for an auto install version of this ocx for you

I have 64 bit, should I have installed the ocx to SYSWOW64 instead of system 32? Just wondering. Thanks

Then, you have to use the following command line to register it:
regsvr32 C:\WindowsSYSWOW64\mscomct2.ocx

*I won't let you go that easily :)
