Est-ce que quelqu'un sait quels seront les nouveautés dans MLB 12 the show, principalement dans le road to the show.

Along with shedding light on broad changes like new control mechanics and small nuances like tweaked CPU trade logic, Jason talked at length about a new feature that should excite gamers of all walks. As ludicrous as this may seem, it starts with purchasing the game twice.

“If people own both the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game, we didn’t want them to start over if they are playing Road to the Show or Franchise,” Villa says. “Our big feature this year, between PS3 and Vita, is cross-platform cloud saves.” When playing in the Season, Franchise, or Road to the Show modes, players can start their franchise on the PS3 version, save their file to a cloud, and take it with them on their Vitas.

“We also have a brand new mode. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen in a sports game. It’s a unique look at baseball and we really think people are going to latch onto this mode and enjoy it.” I have no idea what this mode could be, but the good news is we don’t have long to wait to find out. MLB 12: The Show hits store shelves on March 6.

-The Perfect Game Challenge is a competition where players will compete to pitch a perfect game in MLB 2K12. In a new format, it will contain a universal leaderboard that ranks the top eight perfect games thrown in MLB 2K12, based on pitcher rating and the opponent faced. At the end of the competition, the top eight competitors will face each other in a live tournament, where the winner will receive $1 million.

-MLB Today Season Mode is a new mode that allows players to play an entire MLB season at the same pace as a real MLB team. Using the new MLB Today engine, players can track and compare their stats and record to their real-life counterparts, and play through the team's games, one game per day.

-Franchise Mode is a mode where a player can play through multiple MLB seasons with one team, all while signing free agents, making trades, and setting rosters for that team and its minor league affiliate teams. However, it is not as in-depth as MLB Today Season Mode, and more than one game may be played in a day in Franchise Mode.

-My Player is a mode where players can create a role-specific player and develop him. Many different types of players can be chosen from. Depending on the chosen role, the player will be less proficient in some areas compared to others, but the new stat system will focus on developing the player's skills in those areas.

Changes from previous installments

-MLB 2K12 makes the battles between pitchers and batters more realistic than ever before, as certain pitches will decrease or increase in effectiveness against certain players, depending on their strengths and weaknesses. As a result, players must approach each at-bat differently, depending on who the batter is.

-MLB 2K12 has a new throwing system that gives players more decisions to make in the field. Queuing up throws will result in a smaller sweet spot and higher risk of error, while stopping to set your feet will usually result in a larger sweet spot and more accurate throw.

-MLB 2K12 features more varied and more realistic hits, such as line drives in the gap, and slow tappers down the line, and they are all based on the physics of the game, including pitch location, pitch speed, swing timing, and swing accuracy.

-MLB 2K12 features over 80 hours of new commentary from commentators Gary Thorne, Steve Phillips, and John Kruk. Also, for the first time in the series' history, MLB Today games will feature commentary that updates as the game unfolds.

-MLB 2K12 features improved gameplay from the previous installments, including improved AI, as well as improved graphics and lighting. Catcher animations have been completely re-shot, and new animations have been added for power swings, throws and baserunning.
MLB 2K12 features an online experience that will mimic the offline experience. Swing input, pitcher meters and throw meters are in real-time and will not be affected by lag during online play.

-MLB 2K12 features all of the real-life MLB logos, uniforms, and ballparks, including the the updated logos and uniforms of the Miami Marlins, as well as their new ballpark, Marlins Park.
